摘要
In this work, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have been synthesised via friendly method without adding any reducing agents or exposure to artificial light such as a UV lamp. The method is based on preparing highly stable silver(I):guanosine hydrogel with stoichiometry 1:1. None of monovalent cations were used in this method to induce the formation of the hydrogel. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques were used to investigate the morphology of the formed gel. X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out using the Rietveld method. In addition, surface texture analysis of the self-assembled polymer of silver(I) hydrogel and the silver nanoparticles, that in situ formed in the hydrogel, was carried out.
