摘要

Patients newly diagnosed with metastatic bladder cancer treated with definitive-dose local radiation therapy plus chemotherapy had better overall survival compared to chemotherapy alone. These findings are hypothesis-generating; validation of the results is needed and a prospective trial evaluating the impact of bladder radiation in metastatic disease is warranted.
