Abstract

This paper describes a new simulation-based optimization framework for developing and assessing relief distribution strategies following a disaster where citizen’s relocation is necessary. This work has been conceptualized and is currently being developed with and for experts in the field of disaster and security management, in order to tackle the real issues arising during such crises.
