Image Decomposition for Helping Diagnosis of Covid-19 Lung Injury

The importance of biomedical image processing operations increases day by day. Different methods are used for biomedical image and signal applications. Image segmentation, wavelet transformation, filtering, and classification form a fundamental way of solution in many applications of biomedical image processing. Wavelet is a type of frequency analysis technique. Decomposition and reconstruction are two of the significant wavelet operations. The paper is devoted to the segmentation of Covid-19 patients' X-ray images by using wavelet decomposition and reconstruction with morphological operations.
