Abstract
The Cover Feature illustrates the electrodeposition of Na+ ions on a sodium metal anode. Using electrolytes based on carbonate solvents and containing the most common electrolyte salt, i. e., sodium hexafluorophosphate, leads to dendrite deposits. On the other hand, reversible globular sodium electrodeposition occurs when using sodium cyclopentadienide, as a new type of electrolyte. This could enhance both the cycle life and the coulombic efficiency in sodium metal batteries. More information can be found in the Communication by M. Binder et al.
