Abstract
The pancreas is a hidden organ located behind the peritoneum. It can exert endocrine and exocrine functions and plays an important role in systemic metabolism, digestion and absorption. Pancreatic diseases are a group of diseases that occur in the pancreas. With changes in the environment and lifestyle, the incidence of pancreatic diseases has increased year by year in recent years, and pancreatic diseases have become a common disease of the digestive system. The etiology of pancreatic disease is various, the condition is complex, the treatment is relatively difficult, and the fatality rate is high. The harm of pancreatic disease to human health has attracted extensive attention of researchers. How to reduce the fatality rate and improve the prognosis of patients with pancreatic diseases is a problem and a hot spot for researchers at home and abroad. This chapter mainly introduces the medical treatment of pancreatitis, pancreatic neuroendocrine diseases, benign tumors of the pancreas, and pancreatic cancer.
