Cover Feature: Organic Liquid Crystals as Single‐Ion Li ⁺ Conductors (ChemSusChem 2/2021)

The Cover Feature shows the general concept of realizing Arrhenius-type lithium-ion conduction in organic electrolytes. The key to achieve such conduction mechanism is the use of thermotropic liquid crystalline single-ion conductors in which the Li+ hopping distance is well defined by the self-assembling molecules.
