A brief note on Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis. A strategy to reduce wasted biomedical research

There is an urgent need to reduce something undeniable in biomedical research: the vain, futile publications. Therefore, researchers must address ethical, moral, social, and economic issues to increase research quality. Many publication results are published every day; however, they show spurious, false conclusions based even on data invented by the author or authors. Therefore, it is necessary to synthesize data and information through an exhaustive critical analysis with methods based on scientific protocols with the ultimate purpose of answering well-structured research questions.
