The Health at School Program (PSE) aims to contribute positively to the training of students and health and education professionals.The present study aimed to understand the training of health professionals focused on the PSE, their opinion about the program and how the training they receive has an influence on the execution of actions.Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, conducted with 12 FHS professionals from the municipality of Crato, Ceará.The data were analyzed according to Minayo's method and correlated with the literature.It was found that the training of professionals in relation to the PSE does not occur continuously.In addition, professionals reported the distance between the health and education sectors for the development of PSE actions.The
