摘要
The contamination on materials surface leads to various industrial problems and our daily lives' ones. Therefore, many countermeasures have been investigated from industrial viewpoints. Biofouling by bacterial activities and biofilms formed on materials' surfaces as a result would be the main cause to fix many kinds of contaminations on them as well as themselves as contaminants. We proposed an ionic liquid polymer brush coating as countermeasure and found this as an effective anti-contamination coating. The characteristics of the contaminants by biofouling is that the surface products are composed of organic polymeric substances such as polysaccharides, proteins, nucleic acids and lipids. In this study, we analyzed the contaminants on the ionic liquid polymer brush coating, using Raman spectroscopy. And we also observed and analyzed what kind of polymeric substances would be removed from the brush surfaces by water washing.
