Cover Feature: Preparative‐Scale Enzymatic Synthesis of rac ‐Glycerol‐1‐phosphate from Crude Glycerol Using Acid Phosphatases and Phosphate (ChemSusChem 7/2020)

The Cover Feature shows two enzymatic routes for the valorization of glycerol via phosphate transfer. Glycerol-1-phosphate can be obtained by transphosphorylation using pyrophosphate and acid phosphatase or through a condensation reaction between monophosphate and crude glycerol catalyzed by phytase.
