Improve the Performance and Mitigate the Risk of Brownfield Infilling Project

Abstract The characteristics of a primary well pattern in offshore oilfields are: large well control reserves, large well spacing, thin well pattern, multi-layer combined production and develop highest quality reserves. Infilling adjustment project is of great significance for field life extension, full utilization of facilities, efficient production, remaining oil tapping, well pattern improvement, water flooding optimization, reservoir pressure maintains and production stabilization for offshore This paper takes an oil field in Bohai as an example to analyze the potential and risks of the infilling project.
