Reproduction management.

Abstract This chapter narrates the significance of reproduction management practices for enhancing reproductive efficiency by using new biotechnological approaches, ultimately resulting in faster turnover of the flock in a production environment. Starting from the fundamentals of reproduction criteria, the chapter then presents the latest information on optimization of male fertility, breeding of young does, oestrus detection, state of breeding and mating, overcoming seasonality of breeding, pregnancy diagnosis, and recording of reproduction.
