Abstract

Background: Breast Desmoid-type fibromatosis (BDF) is nonmetastasizing benign, locally invasive tumour. It is rare clinical entity, may arise as an extension of the chest wall muscles lesion, they form only 0.2% of all breast tumors. BDF is a firm non-encapsulated lesion arising from the muscle, aponeurosis and fascia ,composed of uniform fibroblasts, myofibroblasts and collagenous stroma .
