So it is important to depict the sand accurately. Effected by the low resolution of the seismic data, it is hard to identify the sand boundary accurately for the general sand prediction method, with the low coincidence rate on wells. The spectral inversion is used to remove the wavelet, and the high-resolution reflection coefficient is obtained. Then the band-pass filtering is carried out to obtain the broadband seismic data, so as to improve the resolving power of the seismic data. The technology obtained good results in XS oil field. The seismic spectrum is broadened by 20Hz, which can accurately characterize the distribution of the sandstone in the F11-3 reservoir. The coincidence rate of the seismic prediction is 83.3%. The sandstone drilling rate in ZP15 is 96.16%.
