However, this method is subjected to strong nonlinearity and raises up high requirements on initial models. In cases of insufficient surface investigation data, the integrated refraction and tomography static correction can be used as an alternative. In the integrated method, the refraction inversion is first carried out, of which the resultant velocity model is used as the initial model for the tomographic inversion based on first breaks. This paper, on the basis of the actual seismic data of Sichuan Changning, compared the results of different inversion methods. It is proved that the integrated refraction-tomography static correction enjoys high inversion efficiency and excellent static correction performance. Finally, taking this work area as an example, this paper describes the processing procedure, presented the application performance and discussed the applicability of the proposed method.
