On the one hand, this kind of methods mainly featured with broadband, wide azimuth and high fold is necessarilyapplied to meetthe requirements of the complex exploration targets. On the other hand, due to the limitations of harshoperating conditions evencost pressure, it is often very difficult to carry out these projects with a large number of seismic acquisition resources in the field.In this paper, according to the actual technical and operational conditions in the complex exploration area ofAfrican rift basin, we have learnt the low-frequency Vibroseis method integrated with the optimizing measures through the transformation of broadband 3D geometry mode, such as narrowing the size of 3D spread pattern to reduce the recording units input for the project. Finally, wehave worked out the optimized and workable implementation scheme with the joint use of LFVibroseisand the cross spread broadband 3D geometry. The project has been successfully carried out in the field and obtained high-quality broadband seismic data set.
