In article number 1800937, Shunsuke Yamada and Hiroshi Toshiyoshi develop a water-dissolvable electrolyte by combining ionic liquid with polyvinyl alcohol, which decays in time through contact with water. The test measurement shows a capacitance of 13 μF cm−2 and electrical conductance of 20 μS cm−1.
