Abstract
High performance quantum dot light‐emitting diodes have been demonstrated by doping small molecule with low highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level into polymer as a hybrid hole transporting layer (HTL). The hybrid HTL facilitates hole injection and hence improves the carrier balance. The color purity of the device is further enhanced by slowing down the electron transporting with an electron blocking layer. Consequently, the optimized device obtains a maximum current efficiency of 22.8 cd/A, meaning a 35.7% improvement compared with the original one.
