Abstract
The poly(I:C) model is one of the most widely used model of maternal immune activation (MIA). While it is known that the effects of MIA can be influenced by various factors, it has been largely ignored so far, whether differences in housing can also affect the outcomes in the offspring. Here, we examined this possibility by comparing poly(I:C)-based MIA in two housing systems, namely individually ventilated cages (IVC) and open cages (OC).
