摘要
Geometry factor is defined as the ratio of mass transfer rate of straight pipe and typical pipe shapes such as orifice and T-junction, which is widely used for evaluating the wall thinning ratio. It is assumed that the mass transfer depends on the boundary layer thickness developed on the pipe wall. In our experiments, the mass transfer is measured only on the electrical pole. Therefore our geometry factor differs from the original values reported by other researchers so far. In this study, we report on the effect of electrical pole area on the mass transfer rate from the view point of numerical simulation, and suggest the method how to correct it.
