Abstract

CCFL (Counter Current Flow Limiting) characteristic for tight-lattice bundle in low-moderation spectrum BWR was measured under atmospheric conditions. CCFL correlation for tight-lattice bundle was developed using the obtained test results. Then LOCA (Loss of Coolant Accident) analysis was carried out using the developed CCFL correlation. Consequently, the peak clad temperature did not exceed 1200℃ of safety limit. The safety of low-moderation spectrum BWR plant during LOCA has cleared.
