Source location, observation system, the actual seismic events recorded for is known but the strike angel, inclination angle, slip angle is unknown. In inversion algorithm, the grid is divided into fault strike, fault dip and the sliding angle. According to the analytical solution, we obtain the event waveform, the stacking amplitude integral of the X, Y, Z components of P, S wave in the time window obtained to get the property values at the grid points. The search of the optimal moment tensor solution by matching the attribute values of grid points with the property values of real data. In the process of model inversion, the inversion accuracy of the seismic moment tensor at the grid point is higher than 90%, it will produce multiple solutions under certain conditions. After verification, the encrypted search grid can significantly reduce the error, it shows that mesh precision control the error. The real data are processed at the end of the paper. In this paper, a method for inversion of focal mechanism by observing data from small angle far field is presented, demonstrates the validity of this method to a certain extent through the model data and real data.
