Organic-rich shale is widely developed in Lujiaping group of under Cambrian in Northeast Chongqing. However, this region has suffered from the shallow metamorphism of regional dynamics, interlayer fold development with the large inclination, widely exposed limestone and the steep elevation difference. These geological features pose more difficulties for surface microseismic acquisition, processing and interpretation. A combined observation system of surface microseismic monitoring is designed aiming at the complicated geologic structure. The noise reduction method based on wavelet transform is used to suppress the noise in raw data, which contributes significantly to improve the SNR and achieve accurate event location.
