Currently, most of illumination analyses are based on the assumption of isotropy of media in the subsurface. However, media in the subsurface, to some extent, exhibit anisotropy; wave equation or ray based illumination results with isotropic assumption can't correctly reflect illumination characteristics and energy distribution. As to these problems, influence aspects of anisotropic media are studied based on pure-p wave equation, which can solve problems, such as blind zone of ray illumination, anisotropy of real media, expensive computation and s-wave energy contamination caused by full elastic wave equation. Finally, illumination energy of different incidence angle range in the subsurface can be calculated through angle domain decomposition based on Poynting vector method, by which target-oriented illumination in angle domain becomes feasible.
