Abstract
Because positron emission tomography fused with contemporaneous computed tomography scanning is a relatively new imaging modality, not all radiologists are familiar with this procedure and its importance in oncologic imaging. Therefore, this CME activity will provide the radiologist with important information not only about the technique of PET/CT imaging but also about its indications and its high sensitivity for detecting lung malignancies and the many imitators of lung malignancy.
