AbstractThis chapter identifies measures in the framework of the world trade order, which could be used for the promotion of traditional knowledge (TK) products and how they could be adopted to better serve the goals of equity and food security. The measures considered are: (i) positive measures, such as the direct support of production of TK products, or the facilitation of their market access; and (ii) negative measures, such as removing competition-distorting mechanisms, e.g., export subsidies.
