Search forY2*Resonances

A search has been made for a doubly charged $\ensuremath{\Sigma}\ensuremath{\pi}$ resonance produced in $\overline{K}N$ interactions. Data in hydrogen with incident ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ momentum of 1.51 and 1.70 BeV/c, and in deuterium with a ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ momentum of 1.49 BeV/c, show no evidence for any $T=2$ resonance for a $\ensuremath{\Sigma}\ensuremath{\pi}$ mass below 1900 MeV.
