Baseline Health-related Quality of Life Predicts Bladder Cancer–specific Survival Following Radical Cystectomy
European urology focus(2022)
摘要
The current study provides comprehensive data from a propensity score–matched cohort of patients with bladder cancer undergoing radical cystectomy (RC) with curative intent. We aimed to determine the impact of prospectively assessed baseline health-related quality of life (HRQOL) on cancer-specific, overall, and recurrence-free survival following RC. Patients with good baseline HRQOL before RC experienced significantly better survival outcomes.
