Declaration of Values, Vision and Approaches from the Canadian Society for Cardiac Surgery Taskforce on Equity, Diversity, and Integration

The equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) movement is aimed at creating a culture that embraces the uniqueness of individuals and that is representative of the commu-nities we serve. The Canadian Society for Cardiac Sur-geons (CSCS) EDI Taskforce developed this declaration to characterize the current state of diversity among Canadian cardiac surgeons and to develop guiding principles for our future.
