Spontaneous remission in juvenile myasthenia gravis: A cohort of 13 cases and review of the literature

•Of 133 patients with juvenile myasthenia gravis, 10% experienced spontaneous remission.•The rate of spontaneous remission in generalized MG was higher than in ocular MG.•None of the JMG patients with spontaneous remission had thyroid antibodies or thyroid disease compared with 44.4%of those who did not remit.•AChR antibodies were not related to the severity of the disease and could persist after remission.
