摘要
•Children living in a rural area of South Italy had a very low MN frequency.•MN frequency was positively associated with vehicular traffic.•Sport and mother’s high education level were negatively associated with MN occurrence.•The MN frequency found in this study can be used as reference for similar cohorts.
