Choroidal thickness in eyes of migraine patients measured using spectral domain-optical coherence tomography: A meta-analysis

•As a highly vascular and dynamic tissue, the choroid may be affected in migraine cases.•Mean choroidal thickness was significantly thinner in migraineurs than in healthy controls.•Both with and without aura migraine cases had significantly thinner subfoveal choroid than the healthy.•The subfoveal choroid was significantly thinner in the migraineurs with aura than those without aura.•Decreased choroidal thickness in the migraineurs may be the result of recurrent transient vasospasms.
