A global survey of the transcriptome of the opium poppy (Papaver somniferum) based on single-molecule long-read isoform sequencing

摘要
Applying IsoSeq on opium poppy, we improved the gene annotation with a custom-made correction tool, and discovered tissue and development specific alternative splicing modes. Based on the newly found transcribed loci, we unveiled the different characteristics of splicing sites between young and old genes.
