Abstract

•European guidelines recommends the use of cold snare polypectomy for removal of diminutive colorectal polyps (≤ 5 mm).•In this study, we showed that cold snare polypectomy was comparable to cold biopsy forceps for the resection of diminutive colorectal polyps.•Therefore, cold biopsy forceps may be considered as an alternative technique for resection of diminutive colorectal polyps.
