摘要
Sézary syndrome (SS) is an aggressive subtype of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Patients with SS present with pruritus, erythroderma, lymphadenopathy, and a high level of circulating tumor cells.1 Despite recent advances in our understanding of SS,2 the disease remains incurable. Median survival remains <5 years.1 The causes of death are intractable tumor burden and/or fatal infection. Deaths due to infection are thought to be a result of immunosuppression; ie, disease-related losses in important lymphoid and myeloid populations, including but not limited to CD8+ T and natural killer cells.
