中医药在治疗和预防慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)方面有其独特优势.气道重塑是COPD特征性病理改变,包括气道血管增生及平滑肌层增厚.从抑制气道血管增生及抑制气道平滑肌层增厚角度出发,探讨中医药防治COPD的机制,发现中医药可以从减轻细胞外基质(ECM)沉淀和增生、减缓肺上皮间质转化(EMT)方面治疗和预防慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD).
