Artritis reactiva: A propósito de un caso
Medifam(2001)
Abstract
Any inflammatory joint condition can become the begining of an oligoarticular or polyarticular inflammatory rheumatologic disease. Reactive arthritis is the inflammation of a joint that follows an infection ocurring in another localization. We present the case of a 39 years old male with oligo-arthritis after an episode of gastrointestinal infection. A full blood cell count with serum acute reactants, x-ray and stool culture were performed. Treatment was with rest and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
