石志超教授对虫类药的理论阐发及临床应用水平较高.屡以僵蚕、蝉蜕为君,在治疗诸多内外科疾病中疗效显著.石教授认为临证时在辨证准确、配伍精当、明确功用的条件下,应用僵蚕、蝉蜕搜剔经络、搜风散邪、宣风泄热的功效往往可使一些顽疾久损、疑难病症收效满意.
