儿科疾病常与脾胃相关.《素问·太阴阳明论》[1]中:"脾者土也,治中央,……脾藏者,常著胃土之精也,土者,生万物而法天地,故上下至头足,不得主时也."清代唐宗海在《血证论·阴阳水火气血论》[2]中也提及:"血生于心火而下藏于肝,气生于肾水而上注于肺,其间运上下者,脾也.……人之初始,以先天养后天;人之既成,以后天养先天.故水火两脏全赖于脾".
