Optical Characteristics of the Nano-Apertures on the Pyramid
ECS Meeting Abstracts(2020)
Abstract
Recently there have been tremendous interests for developing the single molecule analysis device. We have previously reported the fabrication of the nanopores and nano-slit pores on the various nanostructures such as the Au-coated pyramid and the flat membrane for optical detection detection device. In this report, we address the fabrication of the various nano-aperture optical platform, and optical characterization of the fabricated devices. For aperture opening less than 50 nm, the strong spp-mediated intraband transmission peak at 500 nm is presented, while for the aperture size greater than 200 nm, the surface plasmonic coupling peaks among the nano-apertures are observed. As an example, we present the optical intensities measured from the various size of the nanopores on pyramid as in figure. The fabricated spp-mediated optical intensites from the optical platform device can be utilized for the next generation optical detection device. Figure 1
