Abstract

Recent years, improving the Quality of Life (QOL) has been tried in many fields. Especially, the heavily crowded train during the commuting hours in urban area is one of the social issues in Japan which lowers our QOL. Since the conventional index used to measure the QOL of commuting was average commuting time, which were calculated evenly by the regional statistic, it is hard to estimate each person’s QOL precisely.
