Abstract
With the continuous development of the intelligent and networked automobile industry, the number of Electronic Control Units (ECU) and the demand for network bandwidth are exploding, which requires the automobile bus to have higher data transmission capacity and scalability, and be able to support the communication development architecture of different systems and devices. The automobile ethernet protocol---SOME/IP (Scalable service-oriented Middleware over IP), which meets the automation needs of providing publish, subscribe and remote procedure call mechanisms, is designed for complex communication between typical vehicle ECUs. This paper first analyzes the key technical features of SD and TP functional modules in SOME/IP protocol. Then a service-oriented vehicle-mounted application communication architecture based on CommonAPI was built, and the reliability and scalability tests were conducted on the transmission performance of SOME/IP TP and SD modules under this architecture. The experimental results show that the service-oriented SOME/IP communication protocol has high reliability and scalability, and can effectively solve the complexity problem of automobile service usage and reduce the development cost of automobile application software.
