Retraction notice to “Low-temperature magnetism and heat transport properties of Ho1-xYxFeO3 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4) orthoferrite single crystals” [Ceram. Int. 46 (2020) 6526-6530]

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/our-business/policies/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the authors. The authors stated that the reported work was incomplete and provided the following information: There were only 3 orthoferrite samples (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4) prepared and tested in the manuscript and the sample quantity is insufficient. The authors stated they needed more sample test data to further explore the effect of Y ion substitution Ho ion on the performance of the samples. Additionally, The conclusion on page 6530 “in the thermal conductivity of Ho1-xYxFeO3 single crystals, the magnetic transition at 1 T hardly changes with the increase of Y3+ doping, while the magnetic transition at 2.5T is affected by Y3+ doping.” is not rigorous because it derived from the thermal conductivity data of Ho1-xYxFeO3 single crystals (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4) in Fig.5 and 6. while the data of Ho1-xYxFeO3 single crystals (x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) were untested. Lastly, In Fig.6 (b) and (e), for Ho0.8Y0.2FeO3, the transformation of the magnetic structure at 2.5 T moves towards the high field. This is anomalous behavior and the cause needs to be studied in further detail. Apologies are offered to the readers of the journal.
