Chen, MediaTek, Hsinchu, Taiwan In Paper 7.1, MediaTek describes a four 80MHz channel spatial stream WiFi 40nm CMOS SoC chip with integrated dual-band PAs, LNAs, and T/R switches. With the proposed RF architecture, a high output power of 22dBm for each spatial stream for 802.11ac Stage 2 VHT160 256QAM is achieved.
