Abstract
This study deals with using gamma irradiation using 137Cs source, for determining of the dose response the optical properties of Erythrosine Dye include absorbance and fluorescence emission properties. The effect of exposure doses of gamma ray at dose of 22.55 mGy on the one dye (Erythrosine) taking solar cell parameters of Open Circuit Voltage (VC), Short Circuit Current (ISC), Fill Factor (FF). Solar Cell Efficiency (), percentage increase efficiency (∆η) and the effect of radiation on solar cell efficiency. The results show that, the intensity of absorption increases with the exposure of the Erythrosine dye to radiation but the intensity of fluorescence decreases by exposure to the Erythrosine dye of radiation. It was concluded that exposure to the Erythrosine dye of gamma-ray reduces the efficiency of solar cell.
