摘要
Remote connectivity and easy adaptation according to various terrestrial, climatic, and human resource conditions are the biggest challenges faced by smart farming technologies in smooth integration with the present agricultural industry. To overcome this challenge, the wireless sensor network (WSN) plays a very important role. A sensor network that monitors agricultural conditions creates a large number of nodes that are connected wirelessly, and they access the Internet to send sensor data to the cloud. This proposed system assists in obtaining accurate feedback of crop conditions according to the sensor data to enhance productivity. The wireless sensor network comprises each node that has a group of sensors (temperature and humidity sensors, PIR sensors, pH sensors) connected with the microcontroller unit (NodeMCU). Apart from these sensors, the image capture platform (RGB-D sensor attached to a drone) gets images of crop production. The farmer can take necessary actions based on the sensor data stored in the cloud and displayed on a mobile phone application. This system is very robust and accurate compared to other existing systems.
