Topological near-field heat flow in a honeycomb lattice

摘要
•Fluctuational electrodynamics is used to study near-field radiative heat transfer in a honey-comb lattices InSb nanoparticles.•Bulk modes dominate heat transfer for all nanoparticles in topologically trivial phase.•Edge modes dominate radiative heat transfer in topologically non-trivial phase along the edge of the honey comb lattice.•Heat transfer by the edge modes compared to the bulk modes can be highly increased for materials with low damping.•Dominance of the edge mode heat transfer is further demonstrated for SiO2, GaN, SiC, and hBN honey-comb lattices.
