摘要
In order to improve new radio (NR) performance, wide bandwidth allocation between 52.6 GHz to 71 GHz bands has been considered in the 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP). Since spectrum bands beyond 52.6 GHz have not been used for commercial communication systems, it can be continuously allocated up to several GHz bandwidth. To utilize such potential benefit, the NR has to be optimized for beyond 52.6 GHz bands operation. Furthermore, coexistence issues have to be handled between NR and other radio access technologies (RATs) such as 802.11ad and 802.1lay for unlicensed operation. In this paper, we conduct the coexistence study for NR downlink indoor office scenarios operated at 60 GHz bands based on fifth-generation (SG) system level simulators. Simulation results show that signal to noise plus interference ratio (SINR) becomes worse as the distance between the BSs of two separate operators decreases. Therefore, appropriate spectrum mask regulation and advanced transmit PA and receiver filter should be equipped to effectively mitigate adjacent channel interference (ACI).
