摘要

•Fetuin-A and adiponectin act in opposite directions in metabolic regulation.•Fetuin-A/adiponectin ratio (F/A ratio) was significantly positively related to CIMT.•F/A ratio showed better prediction for increased CIMT than fetuin-A and adiponectin.•F/A ratio is an independent indicator of the risk of higher CIMT.
